NOMINATION APPLICATION FOR OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS
Please send your most recent Bio and provide brief answers to the following questions. Send this to the chair of the nominating committee on or before May 23, 2009 in order to have copies printed and supplied at the meeting. It will be complied for the election which will be held at the council meeting on June 24, 2009. However, additional nominations will still be accepted from the floor the day of the election.
AVAILABILITY
How many hours each month do you estimate that you spent on activities for SVEC (if you are a current or former director) or on your SVEC society activities (if you are not a SVEC director)?
Break your time down as follows:
- Attending meetings and events
- Working on a committee (please list)
- Activities requiring personal initiative (eg. Planning, Research, Event Promotion)
EFFECTIVENESS
Give examples of how you personally contributed to the success of either SVEC (if you are a current or former director) or to a SVEC member society (if you are not a SVEC director)
COMMITMENT
How much time will you be able to commit to SVEC activities during the next fiscal year?
