Understanding traffic behavior is crucial to develop reliable automated driving functions. In-depth analyses and structuring of a wide variety of real-world traffic situations can help to validate the safety based on standardized scenario descriptions.
Large amounts of real traffic data are therefore required. fka has developed the levelXdata methodology to efficiently generate highly accurate traffic data. The method is based on drone videos, which are processed based on AI techniques and fed into an extensive database.
This sets levelXdata apart in terms of data quality and data volume. The data helps automotive companies worldwide to realize automated driving and contributes to the improvement of road safety.
