After a long hiatus since 2019, the American Society Of Mechanical Engineers Santa Clara Valley Section (ASME SCVS) is proud to host a more intimate version of our traditional Industry Honors Dinner. The Inductee Banquet Dinner recognizes all the ASME Fellows since our last formal dinner was held in 2019. This honor of AMSE Fellow is a grade of distinction for those who have significantly contributed to the field of mechanical engineering.
This banquet is by invitation only and will be on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, in the Chianti Room at Terra Mia in Livermore. The restaurant is located more centrally to encourage more Mechanical Engineering professors in our section to attend, hear our mission statement, and learn how they can get involved.
SCVS takes pleasure in being able to celebrate a large number of ASME Fellows since 2020:
- 2024: Dr. Grace D. O’Connell – Associate Dean & Professor of Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley.
- 2023: Bill Maltz – President and Owner of Electronic Cooling Solutions
