In this talk, we will discuss the design and implementation of the “Chat IEEE Standards” plugin, a tool being developed as part of IEEE industry engagement to improve access to (https://standards.ieee.org/) documents using ChatGPT — enhancing accuracy and the user experience, while maintaining the security and integrity of IEEE’s gated proprietary information. The talk will also cover the business implications and thinking motivating the building of such a tool and how this strategy can help IEEE businesses.
